"Working with Monica has been a blessing. I am a reasonably athletic 28 year old who developed debilitating back pain and a numb arm after sitting and working from my couch during quarantine. I also have several mobility restrictions that I'd like to improve for my athletic goals. Monica worked with me to identify the the likely causes behind my problems and provided a cornucopia of exercise variations to target the restrictions. Inevitably, the responsibility for identifying and fixing orthopedic problems lies with the patient - we must research our own problems, learn how to read signs in our body, and put in the work to improve problem areas. However, working with Monica has really accelerated this process. She really cares and treats your research problem as her own - sessions routinely ran past the end time and I have gotten messages from her days after a session with a new idea she thought of that she wanted me to try before the next session. Additionally, from her experiences in fixing her own body's problems, she has an exhaustive list of cues and exercise variants that are very helpful in learning to more effectively apply FRC exercises. She often sends messages with long compiled lists of exercises and demo videos to try related to what was discussed in a session. As specific cues or exercises may not work for everyone, it is useful to have access to a wide array of them to see what sticks. My back pain has vanished and I have a much better idea about the root causes of my problems with a plan to fix them. I highly recommend seeing Monica if you have orthopedic issues or specific mobility and athletic goals."

"Where do I begin? Firstly, Monica is brilliant. I have worked with a number of doctors, coaches, physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors (you name it) to help me find the root cause of the pain I was experiencing. I was unsuccessful for several years until I found Monica. She helped me identify the dysfunction, taught me how to explore my own body, what to do with it and how to manage & train my deficits. She is kind, patient, again I'll say BRILLIANT, & passionate. She goes above and beyond to care for those she works with. I struggled for a while to understand much of the concepts she introduced me to but still she patiently walked me through it time and time again until I understood. Not only did she help me address my own limitations and manage the pain I was in, she also helped me better understand the Functional Range System as as whole as I was newly certified in FRC when I first found Monica. I sent a small handful of my clients to see her while she was still in the Boston area and all of them gave me the same feedback I'm giving now - she is truly incredible. One of the few practitioners that has it all - the education, the passion, the patience, the personality. Whether you are looking for help managing pain/discomfort of your own, looking to improve your athletic performance, or are a fellow FRC coach looking for the world's best mentor, Monica is hands down who you should see."
